Kayla and Erik's engagement session - Beautiful evening engagement session - Topeka's Best Wedding and Engagement Photographers

I’ve had the joy of photographing Kayla and her family many times over the years, so getting to capture this engagement session for her and Erik felt extra special. We started in downtown Topeka during golden hour, where the soft light made the city glow and gave their photos such a warm, romantic feel. You could see right away how natural they are together—the laughter, the easy smiles, and the way they looked at each other made every shot feel effortless.

As the sun began to set, we headed out to the countryside and ended the evening on top of Wanamaker Hill. The sky lit up with the most beautiful sunset, painting everything in golden light—it was absolutely stunning. Erik and Kayla’s connection shines so brightly, and I loved capturing the love they share in such a meaningful way. I can’t wait to be part of their wedding day and to continue telling their story through photos.
