Ellie was a blast to photograph. Absolutely photogenic and very down to earth. She has a beautiful smile and it was interesting as I photographed her I thought she looked a lot like Miley Cyrus and even Jennifer Aniston. We started in Burlingame photographing around old buildings and at the park as well. Then we headed to her home and did some with her horse in the pasture behind their home. It was the most perfect sunset and it really set the mood for her session. Her horse was afraid of our reflector and kept getting skittish but strangely was not afraid of our flash! All in all it was an amazing experience and I’m so thankful for the opportunity! I’m excited to see prints of her images. Thanks for checking out her session and hope you enjoy! T.H. I met Alex when he was younger and was doing family photos for his family. When I saw him again for his senior session, I was really surprised to see how much he had grown up into a strong young man. I know it's silly to say but I was still picturing him as the young kid. The cool thing is we did his session on his family's property like we did back when we did the family portraits. The land is so beautiful and interesting it makes the perfect backdrop for his session. They have barns, a lake, trees, tall grass, you name it, the perfect rural country setting. And the best part was, it's all him. He's a very genuine and down to earth and it was really easy to photograph him. He's truly personable. I'm a bit late getting Teagan's senior photos up but better late than never! I thoroughly enjoyed his session. It was simple but great! We started at a rural property not far from their home, then stopped by Echo Cliff and ended at their home. It was not only beautiful but showcased his passions and hobbies. I loved the entire shoot but honestly the very end was my absolute favorite. This first shot I posted was one of my top favorite senior shots all year! My first impression of Brooke was how pretty she was. I was excited to photograph her and get some incredible images of her. The skies were amazing and the weather was perfect so I knew it was going to be an great shoot. However, within seconds of meeting her, I struck by how nice and smiley she was and how relaxed she was from the first picture. Usually it takes seniors a minute to warm up but I'm pretty sure her first smile was perfect. Our time flew by and before I knew it, her shoot was over. In a short 2.5 hours we got lots of different looks from sunflower fields to a lake, barns to kansas skies, all to complete a perfect shoot. Her mom mentioned several times how much she was just a Kansas girl and she wanted the shoot to reflect that. I think it did! The most amazing thing, is we did all of these photos within a few miles of our studio right here in Scranton. I had a great time with Brooke and love the finished images. I know you will too! T.H.
