Interview with Isaiah Withers - Seaman High Class of 2027 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
When I first met Isaiah, it was obvious he takes his training seriously. He's a senior at Seaman High School and spends a lot of time powerlifting at Joe's Gym, a small backyard garage gym where everyone feels like family. Even though senior pictures probably weren't at the top of his list of favorite things to do, he was up for anything we suggested and made the whole session easy. He's a genuinely nice, down-to-earth guy, and it didn't take long before we were laughing and having a good time. One of my favorite parts was watching him actually lift during the session instead of just pretending. I joked that he got a workout in while getting his senior photos. After the gym, we headed to Isaiah's house to finish the session. We spent some time in his yard, and the sunset put on an incredible show for us. The warm evening light gave us a completely different look than the dramatic gym photos, and I love how the two locations tell different parts of his story. Isa...

Interview with Lexie Clemens - Seaman High Class of 2027 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Image
Lexie's senior session was such a fun one from start to finish! We kicked things off at the Kansas Museum, made our way to the Capitol, and wrapped things up at Ted Ensley Gardens. These are three classic Topeka locations for senior pictures, but I absolutely loved how we used each one to create a variety of looks that fit Lexie perfectly. When we started, it was actually drizzling outside, and I was a little worried about the weather. Thankfully, the light rain didn't slow us down at all, and we ended up having an amazing session. Lexie is incredibly photogenic and has a beautiful smile that shines through in every photo. Her personality made the entire session easy and enjoyable, and before we knew it, our time together was over. She did such a great job in front of the camera that we ended up with more great images than we normally do during a session of this length. One of my favorite parts was that Lexi brought her own camera along because she enjoys photography herself. I...

Interview with Cade Wilson - Seaman High Class of 2024 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Cade was a blast to photograph. When we showed up, he was hanging out by the football field with his girlfriend. She is literally a cheerleader and his cheerleader too! She was so excited for him and that was really cool to see. We photographed some of them together and that was fun. Cade is definitely a great guy. Genuinely a humble, funny, sweet person and it was my honor to photograph him. I loved his personality and he is very photogenic as well. We took some around Seaman High and then went downtown and got some great shots there as well. He had so many images I loved but here are just some of our favorites. Hope you enjoy! Have a great year Cade! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? Cade: My plans after high school are to join the national guard and go to college. T.H. P.: What classes are you glad to be done with? Cade: I am so glad to be done with Chemistry and Math. T.H. P.: What would you consider a dream job? Cade: My dream job would be a Pharmacist without ...

Scout was a great model! He was kind of quiet and reserved but still interested in what we were doing and did a great job posing for us. I enjoyed the moments we caught him cracking up. Scout didn’t have a ton of ideas but by the end of his session, I felt like we got a lot of variety on his shoot. It was great. His mom and sister were there and they made the session even more fun! I always enjoy when family tags along. It makes the whole experience more fun and relaxed. He had so many great images but these are just some of our favorites from the session. Hope you enjoy!! T.H. Peterson: What class do you like most your last year of high school? Scout: Team Sports. T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school? Scout: Go to Fort Scott Community College for baseball. T.H. P.: What are your earliest memories playing baseball? Scout: Playing at the SCABA soccer field during tee ball. T.H. P.: What was your worse injury playing?
