We are pleased to announce that T.H. Peterson Photography will be at "The Dance Spot" in Scranton on Saturday Oct. 24th, 2009, from 5pm - 7pm The party will continue until 10:30pm This party is open to all students from 6th to 8th grade . The Dance Spot is located in Scranton, KS on the main street across the street from the post office. Cost to attend the party is only $3! Prizes for Best Costume DJ Music Food Guitar Hero Contest and Karaoke Contest We will be photographing all kids in their costumes, free of charge. If you're in the area and are in 6th to 8th grade come by! We'll see you there!!!

I've known Janet and her two girls Nicole and Morgan for a long time. I used to work with Janet and I've known Janet and her kids long enough to remember when her girls were just very young teenagers. Now their young ladies. Her oldest Nicole is leaving very soon for the airforce. I was asked to photograph some portraits of them before she left. It might be a long time before mom gets to see her and I thought, what a perfect opportunity to get creative and do something that this family will treasure forever. Here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot! An emotional parting! Nicole says bye! They love each other. My favorite family portrait from that day! Thanks to Janet for allowing me to capture a very special and bittersweet time in their lives!

For those who know me, I loooooovvvvve emotional portraits. I feel that textures are great ways to convey this! Recently, we took Mo out for a photoshoot in Burlingame. That town has very cool old buildings and textures to be found. Here are some of our favorite shots from that day!

Yeah, that's his name! His nickname. This adorable little two month old boy is a Jr so they call him Duece. I think it's cute... look at that face! I love this shot He had so much hair! Daddy and Duece posing together. Dad was very willing to be a part of the shoot. I'm glad he did. The portraits came out beautiful!

At mom's request, I was more than happy to add some shots from today's session with Sami! She has been a joy to photograph and we're going to do one more session with the lovely Sami! Also, I included a shot with her super cute dog!

With so many amazing photographs, how do you choose which to post?!? Anyway, recently we photographed these two beautiful girls. They were so much fun to photograph and what was icing on the cake is how happy thier moms were with their images! Of course, so were Jenny and Chanelle. I wanted to get some of my favorite shots up, however, I will add a few more soon!
