Ashley’s senior session was such a fun one! I had the opportunity to photograph her for quite a while, and throughout the entire session, she was nothing but sweet, friendly, and full of smiles. Ashley has so many interests, especially band and track and field, so starting her session at her school was the perfect way to capture a little bit of what makes her who she is. It was a warm day, but Ashley never let that slow her down. She kept smiling, laughing, and bringing her great personality to every photo. From there, we headed to Ted Ensley Gardens before finishing up at Gage Park. Each location gave us something completely different, which made for a really balanced and beautiful senior session. Ashley is outgoing, fun, and just a genuinely wonderful person to be around, and I absolutely love the images we were able to capture of her. When Ean stepped out of his vehicle, I was pretty excited because this is a BIG dude! As a football player at Holton High School, he has the kind of stature that really stands out, and he absolutely towered over us. I knew we could make some really tough-looking images of him, and we definitely did our best to capture that side of him. But it didn't take long to realize that underneath that big football-player exterior is a giant teddy bear. Ean is such a sweet, friendly, and considerate young man, and I wanted to make sure we captured that side of him too. We started his session on the football field and talked a little about football and his great team at Holton High School. The session was pretty quick, and then we headed out into the country for some photos on a gravel road. Dawson's session was one for the books! He is super nice, very friendly, and has a great smile and personality. We started his senior session in NOTO, where we found lots of colorful backdrops and fun spots throughout. From there, we headed over to Ward Meade Park and were able to create so many cool images. The warm glow of the sun made an amazing backdrop and really added something special to his photos. We finished the evening at Shawnee Lake, where we captured some beautiful images on the water with the setting sun behind him. The sun was huge, warm, and absolutely breathtaking! We had such a great time with Dawson and his mom, and his session was filled with so many awesome images. He made our job easy with his great smile, personality, and willingness to have fun! T.H. Kendall was an absolute dream during her newborn session! My assistant and I were completely blown away by how chill she was. She was so smiley and nothing seemed to bother her. She basically let us do whatever we wanted, and she posed so well for us. She even gave us some of the tiniest little hand poses that had us cracking up. She was just such a good baby, and we couldn't get enough of her! Kendall has three older brothers, and we have had the pleasure of photographing these little guys many times over the years. They are still so young, but they are already completely in love with their baby sister. They were so sweet with her and very interested in everything she was doing. It was so much fun getting pictures of all of them together, the whole family, and some special photos of just the brothers with Kendall. They are going to be some excellent big brothers!
