We’re right on the main street that runs through town, we’ll be on the right next to the bank.
We’re across the street from the post office and caddy corner from Casey’s.

(Ask for Tommy or Jesse)

Tips for your Session:

Keep in mind this session will last between 2-3 hours!

If you have little ones (or husband) bring snacks and drinks for them!  It gets very warm in the building while we shoot, so perhaps bring shorts just in case you get too hot.

Our studio address is 323 Brownie St.Scranton, KS 66537.  The sessions will take place here and with proofing after.  We have props, wraps and headbands, hats, etc. Please let us know if you have any color schemes or themes you want us to incorporate BEFORE your session. Contact Jesse directly at 785-219-7333.

TIPS FOR A SMOOTH SESSION:

  • Bring your baby HUNGRY and SLEEPY!  We want your baby to be ready to eat, have a diaper change and pass out!  When you arrive, we will have you feed, change their diaper, and we will swaddle them in one of our wraps.  We want your baby to be ready to eat and fall right to sleep.

  • Please bring a pacifier, and a bottle of breastmilk or formula.  Even if your infant does not normally use these items, it is our experience that having something for your baby to occupy them can make or break a session.

  • Nursing Moms:  Please read the list below and avoid these foods 24-48 hours before your session.

  • Come with your hair and makeup done, we will always want to get at least a few pictures of baby and mom.  We do encourage you to bring siblings of your newborn baby so we can do some pictures of them together.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so make sure to let us know how many others will attend the session so we can accommodate them.

  • Apply lotion or Aquafor to your baby before the shoot to prevent flakey and peeling skin on the hands, face and feet.  This saves us time during the skin retouch process.

When you come in for your newborn session, you will also proof your photos, and place your order the same day. We are waiving our session fee (normally $150) and we are waiving our minimum purchase (normally $400) to practice newborn sessions.  We are offering the following, you may choose one of these:

- $100 credit towards the purchase of any product (bottom portion of pricelist - from 5x7 proof set to end of page 1); or

-$200 credit towards the purchase of the digital files (top section of pricelist - digital download of retouched edited images in color and black and white, print release, slideshow and phone app included for free); or

- $250 credit towards any package.

To receive these credits, you must place your order at the time you proof your session.  We do offer payment plans, customized for each customer’s needs.  We will go over the attached price list and show you examples of each product before you proof your photos!

IMPORTANT: We highly encourage parents to be photos with baby. So if you want to be in a
few images, please dress where you feel comfortable being in a photo with them. Usually dark solids
work great.

This is such a special moment,  and we are so thankful to be a part of it!

If you follow these simple guidelines, it'll help to ensure a great session!!!
