Interview with Sheyenne Seim - Washburn Rural Class of 2020 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

Sheyenne was so full of smiles during her senior session, and we really love that!  She made our job seem so easy, because she beamed with happiness the entire time! We started off her shoot downtown, going through alleyways and around the tall buildings on Kansas Ave.  We then went to a killer industrial warehouse location for some indoor shots with graffiti. But what Sheyenne really wanted was the sunflower field, so we headed out to a local sunflower field and got some AMAZING images of her!  She really lucked out with an incredible sky and miles of sunflowers. We loved her session! Enjoy!!
T.H. Peterson:  What was your favorite part of the session with us?
Sheyenne: love how creative you guys were and all the locations were super cool.

T.H. P.: How do you feel about being a senior?  What emotions do you feel about your senior year?

Sheyenne:  everyone always told me senior year is fun and easy and I would just like to say it’s definitely not. senior year is definitely still hard.

T.H. P.: What are your plans after graduation?

Sheyenne:  to go to college, but I don’t know where yet.
T.H. P.: If you could spend the day with any celebrity who would it be and what would you do?
Sheyenne:  I’d for sure just want to chill or get lunch with Selena Gomez
T.H. P.: Who has influenced you this far in your life and how have they impacted you?
Sheyenne:  my family and my friends. they have all made me a better person in one way or another. whether it was big or small they’ve all shaped me into the person I am today.

T.H. P.:What is one piece of advice you'd like to give incoming freshmen about high school?

Sheyenne:  stay on top of that homework and try your best but also take care of yourself first. if it’s 3am just go to bed. it’s okay if you don’t ace that test or if you have to turn in that one assignment late. it’s not the end of the world. I promise.

T.H. P.:Where do you see yourself in 10 years and how will you get there?

Sheyenne:  I’d like to have a solid career and maybe a cat or two.

T.H. P.:What is your favorite show on Netflix right now and what do you like about it?

Sheyenne:  currently my favorite show is 13 Reasons Why. It’s a very suspenseful show and it keeps you thinking. but I also really like it because it deals with real issues that teenagers deal with today. I like the show on its own but I also like its purpose and cause.

T.H. P.:Describe one of your favorite memories from high school.

Sheyenne:  my favorite memories from high school are all of the dances like homecoming and prom and things. and just hanging out with my friends and even just seeing them everyday. it always made the work load worth it.

T.H. P.:What activities are you involved in and how have they shaped your life?

Sheyenne:  I used to play soccer and that taught me how to work hard and how to work and think as a team and be a leader.
