Baylor's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Baylor had such a cute newborn session with us last week!  He came in with his mom and grandma for a newborn session, and we were squealing with delight!  He was very easy to work with and pose, even if he peed on us three times! Amanda and Jesse got a great laugh out of it!  After changing the blankets a few times, we decided to pose him on the green tractor with his stuffed pig! SO CUTE!! We were able to get his mom and grandma in a few shots and they were so precious.  We just loved this country boy and you will too!
T.H. Peterson: How did you decide on the name Baylor?  What was the name of the stuffed piggy you brought with you and what was its importance?
Bonnie: My husband picked Baylor out. He loved it, I was sold on it. But after awhile it stuck with me. We haven’t named the stuffed piggy as of yet, but our family is involved with Livestock shows, show pigs mostly, so his Uncle bought him the pig before he was born.

T.H. P.: How did your other children and husband react to seeing Baylor for the first time?  How did you react?
Bonnie: Our girls’ reaction to seeing Baylor for the first time was anything short of perfect! Their eyes were big and watery and instantly told him they loved him. They often argue who gets to hold him and have been super helpful since he has been home. My husbands reaction was so special, as he wanted a boy so bad, and this was our “surprise” baby! Knowing this would be our last baby, and our first boy, I cried when I first saw him.
T.H. P.: What kind of pregnancy did you have and how was it different from your previous pregnancies?
Bonnie: I had a pretty normal pregnancy, however we had a few months in between that we had to have multiple sonograms as the doctor thought his kidneys were not functioning correctly. However, that corrected itself before the 3rd trimester. This pregnancy was different then my others in ways such as I was nauseous and sick with this pregnancy, but not with the others.
T.H. P.: I didn’t have a lot of certain cravings, but loved any carb!!
Bonnie: What kind of food did you crave when you were pregnant?  What foods did you avoid?
T.H. P.: What was your favorite part about your newborn session with us?
Bonnie: Our whole session was amazing! Amanda, Jesse and Tommy were so caring and gentle with Baylor. The session was beyond our expectations, and we cannot wait to book more sessions with our family!
