Interview with Madison Teal - Shawnee Heights High School Class of 2024 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

In our recent senior photoshoot, we had the pleasure of working with Madison, a strikingly beautiful and intellectually accomplished student hailing from Shawnee Heights High School. The artful setting of Ward Meade Park provided a perfect backdrop for our initial session, capturing Madison's natural charm and poise. Transitioning to the White Concert Hall at Washburn University, the images resonated with her profound passion for playing the viola, skillfully highlighting her musical prowess within the grandeur of the venue. As the session drew to a close, we concluded our session at the governor's mansion, where a gorgeous sunset filled her remaining moments of the session. The outcome of this photography adventure perfectly reflects Madison's fun personality. Her senior portraits stand as a testament to her exceptional academic and artistic achievements.

T.H. Peterson: What are you looking forward to your senior year?

Madison: I'm looking forward to some upcoming college visits, and

narrowing in on the college I'll attend next year.

T.H. P.: What classes are you glad to be done with?

Madison: I'm glad to be done with AP Physics.  While I did have friends in my class, and enjoyed the teacher, it was one of the hardest subjects I've ever taken.

T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?

Madison: I plan to go to college and am looking at majoring in aerospace engineering and aviation, with the hope of one day becoming an international airline pilot.

T.H. P.: What would your dream job be?

Madison: Flying, based out of somewhere on the East Coast, and teaching viola lessons on the side.

T.H. P.: How would friends describe you?

Madison: My friends would describe me as silly, goofy, motivated, and way too busy.

T.H. P.: What movie could you watch over and over?

Madison: Alice in Wonderland.  While many of my friends think it's weird and slightly confusing, I like how nonsensical each of the characters are.  It is one of my comfort movies.

T.H. P.: What are your earliest memories playing music?

Madison: Probably playing piano on my makeshift keyboard that was definitely falling apart, and I had drawn all over as a child. I taught myself most of the basics before I even started private lessons and I was able to skip to book 2.

T.H. P.: What’s the girliest thing about you?

Madison: Probably the fact that I am not athletic at all.  I don't think I've ever really been good at sports, and I probably never will be.

T.H. P.: What is your favorite youtube channel?

Madison: I don't watch YouTube.  Like ever. But I used to watch all the cake-decorating videos when I was younger.

T.H. P.: What is the last thing you think about before falling asleep? Madison: I'm a very scheduled person so I typically start thinking about all the things on my to-do list for the next day.
