Interview with Macey Dempewolf - Seaman High Class of 2026 - Topeka's Best Senior Portraits

We had such an amazing time with Macey during her senior session at Gage Park! Even though it was a shorter session, the time just flew by because she was so much fun to be around. We started at the Carousel, then moved to the Rose Garden and the pond, and every spot was perfect for her. She has such a happy and positive energy—it really made the session so easy and enjoyable.

Macey is such a beautiful young lady, inside and out. You can tell she’s smart, grounded, and full of life. Her personality just shines through in every photo. Honestly, we didn’t want the session to end because we were having such a great time!

T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school?
Macey: My plans after high school are to attend college at Washburn University and graduate with a degree in nursing.

T.H. P: Classes you're glad to be done with?
Macey: I will be really glad to be done with math and history!

T.H. P: Dream job?
Macey: Labor & Delivery Nurse
T.H. P: Something you liked about your session with us?
Macey: I liked the constant positive energy and jokes. They were the funniest, and it made it easier to relax for photos.
T.H. P: How would friends describe you?
Macey: Super talkative, funny, and sometimes frustrating 😂
T.H. P: If you had $1000 and 1 hour to spend it, where would you go?
Macey: I would go to Barnes & Noble
T.H. P: Favorite meal?
Macey: My moms spaghetti, it’s so yummy!
T.H. P: What singer/band are you obsessed with?
Macey: I would have to say my favorite singer is definitely Lainey Wilson. My favorite song by her is “Heart Like a Truck.” I relate to this song so much. I feel like I've been through a lot and my heart has remained so strong through it all.
T.H. P: Last movie you saw, what did you think?
Macey: The last movie I saw was an action movie. My dad always picks the best ones. I absolutely love the outline and backstory to each one.
T.H. P: What skill do you want to learn?
Macey: I want to learn how to whistle.
