Jessica and Craig had their wedding just a little over a week ago! And it was beautiful. It was a small celebration out at Pamona Lake just overlooking a beautiful scene of the lake and trees. It was very laid back and relaxed and fun. The weather couldn't have been nicer and everyone was in such good spirits. The wedding took place just minutes before the sun set and the light and warmth on the bride and groom made for the perfect setting for their vows. I had a wonderful time with these guys and their family and friends. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Jessica's dress was simple but she looked absolutely stunning in it.   Emporia has never looked as good as it did the day Nick & Kelsey decided to make it official & say "I do!". From the sapphire blue dresses to the groomsman's surprise array of neon socks, this day was nothing short of perfection. It's beyond obvious that Kelsey made for one gorgeous bride but the star of the show really was the love shared between all of their family & friends. The warmth of smiles & laughter were the perfect accessory for such a chic reception. The royal blue accents woven throughout each asset of the day was perfectly fitting for such a classy couple. Overall we could not have asked for more genuine people & gorgeous decor. The uber adorable flower girl helped just a little! Definitely made our jobs fun and easy!!  Zo and Jamie had such a great wedding day! I really admire these two. They seem so perfect for each other. They genuinely look happy together and even though weddings are usually a day of stress of craziness these two couldn't have seemed more relaxed and content. I love their wedding photos and I think it really nicely shows just how great their day was and how awesome their friends and family are and how much they mean to them!  So almost one week ago we were in Rossville for Morgan and Josh's awesome wedding. Both at their ceremony and reception they had the cutest decorations and ideas. They really implemented their country theme well! Made it fun photographing all of them. And their bridal party was super fun. They guys took a little time to warm up but by the reception we were having a super silly time. Morgan looked amazing! I told her that I couldn't believe she wasn't sweating when we were outdoors. She looked pristine the whole day! Overall, their celebration was a really fun day and I'm so glad we got to be a part of it! Lots of special moments, lots of laughs and silly faces. Funny thing is even when Morgan was making a seriously silly face, she looked good! Definitely made our jobs fun and easy!!! When I first walked up to Reynold's Lodge where Alex and Megan were getting married, I saw Alex. He told me he was so nervous that he had thrown up a few times earlier that day. If I were a girl and sappy, I probably would have teared up and said "AWWWWWWWW" but you know what? With the smile on his face and the nervousness that accompanied it, I thought about great these two are for each other. Honestly, though it's a wedding, I don't always see the guys getting super emotional but Alex was all smiles and laughs and maybe even a tear or two and Megan was full of smiles and the emotion and passion between these two is so obvious. Their son was a star of the show too. He was a little shy at first but by the end of the night he was our best friend! He was so much fun to photograph.  Here's something amazing. Jessica did her entire bridal party's makeup. We've never seen that. She told us that she's always been the one to do other's make up and based off how she did, she's amazing! We had an incredible experience with Landon and Jessica on this beautiful day! It was out at Melvern Lake and it was the perfect backdrop for this amazing celebration! The reception was super fun too! Lots of great moments with their family and friends! Kaylee and Kyle had the most amazing wedding! Everything from their venues down to their decorations and bridal party were just fantastic! Several days before I was to shoot this wedding, I injured my knee. But as many of you know, at T.H. Peterson Photography, we have a TEAM of incredible and talented photographers who do a phenomenal job. Instead of just two of us, we sent in literally four photographers to cover the day. What we got back was some of the most breathtaking and emotional and beautiful coverage of a wedding we ever had! Kaylee and Kyle are such an awesome couple and they deserved the best! Shela and Todd's wedding was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal! It's what I want from every wedding we shoot. Emotion! When I first sat down with Shela she told me what was most important was that we portray the love and romance they had. That's right up our alley!! But it was interesting that she's really the first to ever tell me that! Every couple tells me they want FUN pictures and I love FUN but to me my primary goal every time is getting raw and unfiltered emotion! And so I was super excited to be a part of their day! These guys are so in love and so passionate towards one another that it was a sight to behold! Shela looked absolutely amazing and gorgeous and beautiful! I can't say enough to describe how wonderful she looked and Todd was just the most happy groom ever! Such a photogenic couple all the way! Chris and Mallory said their I do's on May 24, 2014 and we were there to capture all the love and emotions and crazy moments. Mallory looked stunningly beautiful on her special day! Chris was definitely all smiles and even seemed a little nervous before the ceremony but when Mallory walked down the aisle, there was no denying how happy he was.... he even shed some tears! Pleased to present the Koehn Wedding! It was a beautiful affair at 6th Avenue Ballroom in Topeka. It was our time shooting at this place and we loved it! We highly recommend it. It's got a lot of character and a really nice location for a wedding. There was even a cute upstairs apartment for Kelsey and the girls to get ready in and Forrest and the boys got ready at a friends house keeping them from seeing each other until Kelsey walked down the aisle. The look on Forrest's face was priceless. He was all smiles! Even though that's a small moment, it sticks out in our minds as one of the highlights of the day. Every single time I post a wedding, I say how excited I am. Well, I can't express how pleased I am with Tonya and Jimmy's big day. It was the perfect day. Everything. The location, the weather, the family and friends... I just kept thinking about how perfect everything was. I love rural settings and this took place right on their farm in Lebo, KS. The clouds barely gave us cloud cover, which we couldn't have asked for better. The kids were all so much fun to be around and it was definitely one happy celebration. I love being a part of something this real and this down to earth. The little time I've spent around Jimmy and Tonya,  I know they have something special and I wish them the absolute best!
