We had such a great time photographing McKenna’s senior pictures! We started at the Governor’s Mansion and then made our way down to the river at River State Park. The weather could not have been better—it was one of those afternoons where everything just came together perfectly. McKenna was such a natural in front of the camera, with a beautiful smile and great style. Her outfits fit the scenery so well and added even more to the overall look of her photos. Some of my favorite moments from the session were capturing her in the wildflowers, walking along the wooded paths, and of course down by the river. Each spot gave us something a little different, and McKenna made every photo shine. She was a joy to work with, and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from her session! T.H. We met up with Lexis and her mom at Gage Park and we immediately noticed how beautiful Lexis is!  She has such gorgeous, long blonde hair and really pretty eyes and a great smile!  She was so easygoing and fun to work with!  We ended the shoot with some great portraits of her at the Governor’s Mansion.  She laughed at our silly jokes and we captured some amazing smiles!  Here are some of our favorites from her session! T.H. Peterson: What activities are you involved in and how have they shaped your life? Lexis: I am involved in volleyball and track. They have shaped my life by bringing new people into my life, new opportunities, and teaching me how to deal with adversity. T.H. Calvin immediately stood out to us as someone who was here for a fun senior session!  He had a friendly smile, and looked much older than we would have guessed.  His personality and his laugh, especially during the “couples” pics with his best friend made it hard for us to keep a straight face.  They all had us laughing so hard, I couldn’t hold the camera still!  Calvin had one of the best shoots we have had and his photos speak for themselves!   T.H. Peterson: What is one of your funniest memories from high school?   Calvin: When Dane Whalen body slammed me during a wrestling meet my Junior year.  It was the first time anyone has picked me up. T.H. P.:  What activities were you involved in and how did they shape you as an adult? We thought someone was playing a prank on us when we first met Colton. He didn’t look like a senior at all!  In fact, he looked like he was more of an adult than we are! But man, that guy is hilarious! He had us cracking up and we really enjoyed his girlfriend and his mom joining us for the shoot, but the best part came when we met up with his bestie, Calvin and the two insisted on some couples style pics. The overalls, the flannels, the axe handle… it was one of the best senior shoots we have ever been on!  If you’re not in stitches by the end of this blog, grow up!  Hahaha. T.H.
