Interview with William Powell - Washburn Rural Class of 2024 - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

Image
Let me tell you all about William. We had ourselves an incredible time shooting his session against the backdrop of the Governor's mansion, the Natatorium, and downtown Topeka. We lucked out with the most perfect warm glow from the sun when we got downtown. On top of the parking garage and the skyline was just amazing. An absolute natural in front of the camera. From every angle, he looked fantastic, effortless. He could be a model. Beyond his photogenic charm, I feel we clicked. We had a good time. And you can see that in his session. William is not just a great model, he's also one of the nicest seniors I’ve photographed. It was great meeting you William! T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school? William: My plans after high school are to continue my swimming and educational career in college, planning to major in business and minoring in coaching. T.H. P.: What classes are you glad to be done with? William: I’m grateful I never have to take another chemistry clas...

Rylie cracked me up. Mom said she had a lot of sass and she sure did! But she did amazing for her session!! Rylie is a natural beauty. She had great expressions and even though her session was only an hr, we got lots of great looks from her shoot. I loved all of her outfits but this blue outfit, the color just popped!! So awesome. And I especially love her hair!! Agghhh!! So beautiful!!! Here's a few of our favorites and the cool thing about our seniors is we add an interview to their blog post. That's always a lot of fun! Enjoy!! T.H. Peterson:  Favorite thing about going to school at Mission Valley? Rylie:  Being able to know everyone in the school and having more opportunities for sports and clubs T.H. P.:  Where  would you like to go to college and why? Rylie:  Arizona State University because that's where some of my family has graduated from and I enjoy its location. T.H. P.:  Cool! Interview with Conner Gould - 2016 Lebo High School Grad - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

Several weeks ago, we drove down to Lebo for a senior shoot with Conner. He was down for anything which was great because we wanted to really showcase his love for hunting. The skies were overcast but we still got some beautiful light at sunset. Definitely one of the highlights of Conner's session was the crazy beautiful skies that we got as the sun headed over the horizon. Lots of times with guys, we end up getting lots of serious expressions, which we did with Conner, but honestly his smile was fantastic and glad we were able to get lots of those! Glad to share these with you all and I hope you enjoy it! Also, make sure to check out his interview.  Good stuff. T.H. Peterson:  Rumor has it, everyone from small towns knows each other… Is this true? Conner:  Yes this is very true everyone knows everyone. T.H. P.:  How serious do you take your hunting? Conner:  I take my hunting serious to an extent. Cause the whole purpose of hunting is to have ...

A little behind on blogging but we are busy! Excited to share this session though. One reason is just how photogenic Cassidy was! She did amazing! She has a great smile and was down to try anything! I love her photos in the tall grass. The light was killer!! We also tried some experimental shots with smoke bombs and those were some of my favorites! Cassidy is a fun girl and I think you'll see that in these photos as well as in her answers in the interview! Also, one thing I pointed out to her, we haven't had many red heads in the past years but this year we've had lots and it's amazing how great red heads look backlit by the warm late afternoon sun! Thank you for checking out our session! Hope you enjoy! T.H. Peterson:  What is your favorite thing about school? Cassidy:  My favorite thing about school is having late start on Mondays or being able to have shortened schedule. I love being able to sleep in. I also really like participating in spirit week!  T....
