Interview with William Powell - Washburn Rural Class of 2024 - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

Let me tell you all about William. We had ourselves an incredible time shooting his session against the backdrop of the Governor's mansion, the Natatorium, and downtown Topeka. We lucked out with the most perfect warm glow from the sun when we got downtown. On top of the parking garage and the skyline was just amazing. An absolute natural in front of the camera. From every angle, he looked fantastic, effortless. He could be a model. Beyond his photogenic charm, I feel we clicked. We had a good time. And you can see that in his session. William is not just a great model, he's also one of the nicest seniors I’ve photographed. It was great meeting you William!

T.H. Peterson: What are your plans after high school?

William: My plans after high school are to continue my swimming and

educational career in college, planning to major in business and minoring in

coaching.

T.H. P.: What classes are you glad to be done with?

William: I’m grateful I never have to take another chemistry class.

T.H. P.: What are your earliest memories swimming?

William: My earliest memories swimming would probably be meeting my life-long friends who have grown, improved, and won medals alongside me for years.

T.H. P.: What would be your dream job?

William: My dream job is to be a fitness influencer or fitness coach. I’ve found lifting weights, crossfit, swimming, and staying active to be extremely beneficial and a great way to stay motivated in life’s daily tasks. I wish to educate others on this principle.

T.H. P.: Favorite outdoor activity (non sports related)

William: My favorite outdoor activity is boating. Being on a lake and going tubing or just having the wind in your face is a lot of fun!

T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us?

William: We had a lot of laughs and they were very professional with lots of great ideas.

T.H. P.: Where would you go on a dream vacation?

William: My dream vacation would be Prague. It’s an absolute beautiful city with rich history and beautiful architecture.

T.H. P.: How would friends describe you?

William: My friends would describe me as a kind, goofy, out-going, respectful guy with an extreme sense of determination and with a knack for spreading joy.

T.H. P.: What kind of student are you?

William: The best kind. Im relatively smart student who is active in several high school clubs and teams, including swim and NHS.

T.H. P.: What movie could you watch over and over? William: I could watch “Army of the Dead” over and over. It’s the perfect combination of action, comedy, and story telling.
