Colt's newborn session - Topeka Newborn Photography - Interview with Mom - Beautiful infant portraits
Colt was an absolute sweetheart! He is so beautiful and cute and tiny. Posing him was easy and he slept so great the whole time, it was wonderful to be able to work with him. I loved all of his photos but I think the portraits with his mom and dad are just as special. I love the way they all turned out! Here's a few of our favorites along with an interview with mom. Enjoy!
T.H. Peterson: How did you come up with the name Colt?
Rachael: We both made a list of names that we liked and put them on a board. Colton was originally what we had both liked and decided we would shorten it to Colt for short.
T.H. P.: What was your first thought when you saw him
Rachael: When the Doctor placed Colt on my chest I was overcome with emotion. I was so in love the moment I saw him.
T.H. P.: Who does he look most like?
Rachael: Colt looks exactly like his Dad. No denying that hair!
T.H. P.: What was your labor like?
Rachael: The most memorable moment during labor for me was when it was time to push I remember closing my eyes and I could hear the AC/DC song 'TNT' in the background. It was the last thing I remember before Colt arrived. I couldn't get that song out of my head the whole night.
T.H. P.: Did you have any special cravings during pregnancy?
Rachael: I craved blueberries when I was pregnant. I ate about 3 pints a week. I also craved Italian food towards the end.
