Noah's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Newborn Photographers

Noah is one of the sweetest little guys we have ever photographed.  He and his family have been coming to us for years, and we love having them visit!  He sure enjoyed being swaddled, and did such a good job considering he was less than two days old!  Such a little cutie! Since Noah is a fall baby, we decided to add a few special touches to his photos, some Autumn leaves from the tree across the street!  He looked SOOOOOO CUTE!!! Noah and his mom, dad, brother and sister also got some family photos, and we really love when we can do that in a session! They will be able to look back on those photos for years to come, remembering how small and delicate Noah was.  We love the Hardee Family and we look forward to photographing all of them for years to come! Check out Noah’s adorable newborn session!
T.H. Peterson:  How did you feel when you learned you were pregnant with  Noah?
Melinda:  We were very excited when we found out.  I was surprised because I wasn't expecting it to happen.  I wasn't sure if it would be in the cards for us but we were so excited to have a little brother or sister added to our family.
T.H. P.:  How has this pregnancy been different from your others?
Melinda:  I was much more relaxed with this pregnancy.  I didn't have any complications this time. I had a fall at 37 weeks.  I ended up getting a concussion and a sprained ankle. After that trip to the ER I was so ready to be done being pregnant and meet my baby boy.  Miraculously Noah was not hurt from the fall.
T.H. P.:  How was your first night at home with all of you?
Melinda:  We were tired but it felt so good to be home and have all my kids together.
T.H. P.:  What is one thing you really love and cherish about being a mom?
Melinda:  I love all the special moments I have with each one of them.  An unexpected hug or kiss....hearing I love you Momma...and watching them grow.  It goes so fast so I try to savor every minute.
T.H. P.:  How are you and dad holding up since you have a toddler and a newborn at home?  Are you sleeping enough?
Melinda:  It's been challenging at times.  Ainsley has had to grow up a little since she's not the baby.  Leaving the house to go somewhere has become a lengthy task. It's cleaning up one mess to find another.  We still have a sense of humor to laugh later on about the toddler playing in the toilet while the baby is having a blowout diaper.  Sleep is a luxury right now and so is being on time.
