Interview with Emma Garland - Burlington Class of 2024 - Topeka's Best Senior Portrait Photographers

We recently had a super fun photoshoot with Emma around Burlington. We started at the dam, where Emma's spunky and animated personality shined through. She made my job a breeze by striking the most natural poses! Then, we moved to the high school football field; Emma's smile and energy were contagious, making the photos come out full of life.

But the best part was yet to come. As the sun began to set, we headed to the John Redmond Reservoir for the grand finale. The breathtaking sunset served as an incredible backdrop for capturing Emma's killer smile. Her friends tagged along, adding to the fun and laughter. It was clear that Emma cherishes her friendships. Having lived in Minnesota for a while, she's now back in Burlington for her senior year, and we were honored to freeze this special moment in her life. Emma's session turned out to be one for the books, with her expressions and laughter stealing the show. She's undeniably one of the most fun seniors we've ever photographed. We're grateful for the opportunity to capture her vibrant spirit and wish her all the best in her senior year and beyond. Keep shining, Emma!

T.H. Peterson: What are you looking forward to most your senior year?

Emma: I’m looking forward to making the last of my high school memories this year.

T.H. P.: What are your earliest memories in dance?

Emma: When my mom would have to fix my lipstick every 5 seconds.

T.H. P.: What will you miss most about high school?

Emma: The sports.

T.H. P.: What are your plans after high school?

Emma: To go to college.

T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us?

Emma: All the laughs and we could experiment anything.

T.H. P.: What would people be surprised to learn about you?

Emma: That I don’t have dwarfism.

T.H. P.: What is your superpower?

Emma: I meet friends wherever I go.

T.H. P.: What movie could you watch over and over?

Emma: Mean Girls.

T.H. P.: What is your dream job?

Emma: To work with kids.

T.H. P.: Describe your relationship with your mom. Emma: Amazing. She’s my best friend; we can always be ourselves together and she gives me the best advice no matter where I am.
