Landry's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers
We photographed sweet baby Landry, and she was absolutely adorable. One thing that immediately caught my eye was how much hair she had—and it was in the cutest little mohawk. I even grabbed a close-up of it because the shape was just so funny and perfect. She was such a good baby the whole time, and her session felt really calm and easygoing.
We also got some beautiful photos with mom and dad that really showed that connection and love. The whole session had a very sweet, relaxed feel to it, and everything just came together so naturally. I’m really happy with how her images turned out and so thankful I got to capture these moments for their family.
T.H. P.: How did you come up with her name?
Jayme: I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Tom Landry is one of the greatest coaches in Cowboys history. I didn't want to name my baby Tom, so Landry it was.
Jayme: We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl. My husband was able to tell the whole room that we had a girl! We both were in love and so happy. The most beautiful thing we have ever seen.
T.H. P.: What was the hardest part of pregnancy?
Jayme: The hardest part of pregnancy was the constant need to go to the bathroom and the very little sleep once in the third trimester.
T.H. P.: Something you liked about your session with us?
Jayme: What my husband and I both liked from the session was you took your time with our girl. You were careful and cautious with her. I also liked her headbands that were able to fit her and she was all wrapped up beautifully.
T.H. P.: Food you craved or had aversions to?
Jayme: Food I craved while pregnant was mushrooms, especially stuffed ones. McDonald's chicken wraps and breakfast burritos.
