Theodore's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Theodore was such a joy to photograph! He was an adorable, chunky little guy with the sweetest expressions and the calmest personality. From the moment he settled into his session, he made my job easy. We were able to try several different poses, and he stayed relaxed through it all. His little smiles and curious looks made for some incredibly cute photos that really show off his personality.

It was also wonderful spending time with Theodore's family. Mom and Dad are absolutely crazy about their new little boy, and it was easy to see how much love surrounds him. We had a lot of fun creating these portraits together, and I especially love how the images capture this special season in their lives. I can't wait for them to look back on these photos years from now and remember just how tiny, cuddly, and lovable Theodore was.

T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Theodore?
Hope: When I first saw him I thought about how excited I am to have another baby to love and that I can't wait for him and his sister to become best friends.

T.H. P.: How did you come up with his name?
Hope: When I was thinking of boy names I wanted a good strong name that he can have when he's older but also a cute nickname while he's still my little boy. So my husband and I decided on Theodore, aka Teddy.
T.H. P.: Something you liked about your session with us?
Hope: While working with you guys I really enjoyed how kind you were to my whole family and how patient you were with my little girl. It definitely made the whole process feel much less stressful, so thank you guys so much!
T.H. P.: What does big sis think?
Hope: His big sister goes through days where she wants absolutely nothing to do with him and other days where she is very curious about the new addition to our family. She likes to help us out with him by throwing away his diapers, giving us his pacifier when he's crying, or handing us his bottle when she thinks he's hungry. I'm sure that as time goes by they'll become besties.

T.H. P.: Did you have any food cravings or aversions when you were pregnant?
Hope: When I was pregnant the thing I craved most was ice cream. I just couldn't get enough of it.
