Cole and Lauren’s wedding at Arterra Event Gallery in Lawrence, KS was absolutely perfect. It was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and so much personality. Surrounded by a small group of close friends and family, the atmosphere was intimate and joyful. The bridal party brought a ton of fun and creativity—so quirky and full of life! Cole and Lauren chose to wait to see each other until the ceremony, and when Lauren walked down the aisle, the emotions were overwhelming. There were tears, smiles, and so much love in the air. It was short, sweet, and truly moving. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres and an incredible meal catered by Macelli’s—every bite was as beautiful as it was delicious.   Amanda and Andrew had such a fun wedding at the Mother Theresa Catholic Church.  Their families joined them and we had so much fun photographing the whole crew!  They had a lowkey wedding and even though it was super windy, we made the best of it and got some really fun bridal party shots.  After the ceremony, with the clouds in the background, we took some stunning bride and groom photos of Amanda and Andrew!   What a cool wedding!  We wish them many more years of joy and happiness! A sigh of relief as I am wrapping up Kaitlyn and Jacob's wedding. Why? Because I wanted it to be perfect. I've known the Mercer family for a while now and I knew that their day was going to be very special and it definitely was. I wanted to do it justice. I wanted to beautifully capture the love and affection Jake and Kaitlyn have for each other. I wanted to capture the relationships that they share with their family and friends.     It was wonderful going to this wedding. I not only saw many people I knew, but many couples that I have photographed in the past at their own weddings and that was amazing to see. It honestly makes me happy and encouraged when I see past married couples at weddings. I love it. It makes me so happy.  When Randy, Monica and I pulled up to the wedding venue, I was blown away. Erin and Jay-Michael's wedding day was something spectacular! So many amazing moments and memories I'll have from that day and we're so thankful and happy that we got to be a part of it! First of all, they are such a sweet couple... a sweet family. Their children are BEAUTIFUL and so photogenic! We've been blessed to be able to photograph them on multiple occasions and it's always a blast. Secondly, the location was Creekside at Berryton and that is an awesome venue for a wedding! It's outdoors and rustic and very beautiful. It's always fun and helpful when our weddings are at such beautiful places! I highly suggest Creekside!  Next, Erin and Jay-Michael's family and friends are so awesome! They truly made the day enjoyable and fun!  Zo and Jamie had such a great wedding day! I really admire these two. They seem so perfect for each other. They genuinely look happy together and even though weddings are usually a day of stress of craziness these two couldn't have seemed more relaxed and content. I could go on and on about this wedding but I'll let the video do the talking. It was so gorgeous and beautiful last Saturday when Calie and Josh pledged their love for one another! Seriously, the weather could not have been more amazing. Calie and Joshua were so nice when we photographed them for their engagement portraits and we knew we'd have a great time but their wedding party made the celebration even more fun! Calie looked amazing and Joshua was hysterical at the reception. The dancing, food, location, decorations, everything was just so awesome. A wedding I won't soon forget. That's for sure!!!
