Interview with Brooke Preston - 2016 Santa Fe Trail High School Grad - Osage County's Premier Senior Portrait Photographers

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Brooke! She is such a fun person to photograph. Her mom joked that she'd been excited for her senior pictures for years. I actually hear that a lot. And that makes me feel really awesome and it makes me realize just how important these photos are. It's such an important time in life and such a monumental milestone. I feel honored to be a part of something so awesome. Brooke did amazing for her photos. The crazy thing is they told me that during her session, she was actually sick. There is NO WAY you'd ever known by looking at these photos. She had the best attitude and looked incredible during her session. I loved her outfits and locations. We started at Truckhenge and ended at Shawnee Lake for photos in the lake. The light and weather was incredible. It made for a beautiful and memorable experience! Thank you for checking out this blog post and below you'll see lots more of her photos as well as our interview with Miss Brooke!
T.H. Peterson: What’s the best thing about going to Santa Fe Trail?
Brooke: The best thing? Because it’s such a small school, I am able to get to know each of my peers better than if the school was large. Santa Fe Trail’s small size also allows for a closer relationship between student and teacher, which usually results in better grades overall.
T. H. P.: What do you plan on doing after high school?
Brooke: I’ve looking at colleges recently and I’ve narrowed it down to a few. After high school, I’ll attend one of the following schools: Washburn, Kansas University, or Kansas State University.
T. H. P.: Describe your fashion sense in one word.
Brooke: That’s hard… probably classy.
T. H. P.: For a date would you rather go to a movie, amusement park or see a concert?
Brooke: Definitely an amusement park! You can’t talk during a movie, and concerts are way too loud for getting to know someone. Plus, if they can’t hold their own on a roller coaster, it’s probably not going to work out.
T. H. P.: Favorite male singer?
Brooke: The Beatles, for sure.
T. H. P.: Guilty pleasure song?
Brooke: Sorry to call out The Beatles again, but it’s going to have to be All My Lovin’ by The Beatles
T. H. P.: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
Brooke: I went bungee jumping in Florida once, that’s pretty crazy.
T. H. P.: How many kids can you see yourself having one day?
Brooke: None. I plan on traveling the globe and seeing all the wonders of the world. A child just wasn’t put into that plan.
T. H. P.: Best place to get desert in Topeka?
Brooke: Orange Leaf!
T. H. P.: If you had to move from Kansas where would you go?
Brooke: I’ve actually thought about this a lot. I do want to move away from here one day and I’ll probably end up in either California or Florida.
