Kaylyn's Awesome Sunset Session - Osage City HS Class of 2022 - Topeka's Best Senior Photographers

Kaylyn is one of the most photogenic and laidback seniors we have ever met!  Her session was ice cold but you’d never know it by looking at her photos.  She posed herself in so many of these, and her smile was genuine and her attitude was authentic.  We went downtown by the capitol, then headed out to Truckhenge for the absolute best sunset ever!  We could not have asked for a better subject, and we are absolutely thrilled to show these images to you.

T.H. Peterson: What is your favorite class this year?

Kaylyn: My favorite class this year is probably Spanish 2. We have a lot of days where we share stories and there’s a lot of funny kids in that class.

T.H. P.:  What are your plans after high school?

Kaylyn: Well, right now I’m applying to x-ray tech programs and physical therapy assistant programs, both of which are very limited. Once I graduate either x-ray or PTA I plan on going to Washburns diagnostic medical sonography program and either become an OBGYN sonographer or cardiac sonographer. But that’s if I can get into one of the many programs I’m applying for.

T.H. P.:  What will you miss most about your time at Osage High?

Kaylyn: There’s so much I will miss about OCHS. The teachers who I’ve always been able to talk to. How it feels like home. The memories I’ve made, whether it was dance, volleyball, track season, or even the classes I struggled in. I’ll miss seeing my classmates everyday. I could go on and on really.

T.H. P.:  Favorite activity?

Kaylyn: Oh gosh, I don’t know. I like to dance and I like to journal. I love spending time with my little sister and my friends. I really enjoy school and I spend a lot of my time studying or working on school work.

T.H. P.:  Favorite junk food?

Kaylyn: I really like pickles and gushers or fruit by the foot.

T.H. P.:  What was your favorite part of your session with us?

Kaylyn: I had a few favorite parts. One was when you guys showed me one of the pictures for the first time and I instantly knew they were gonna turn out great. I love how you guys included my friend, Hannah in a few shots. And I’m also really glad that I rescheduled because we got a lot of pictures with the sunset.

T.H. P.:  What is something you'd go back and tell your freshman self if you could?

Kaylyn: I would tell freshman Kaylyn that the four years in high school really do go by fast and to soak in every moment that she can.

T.H. P.:  Favorite female singer?

Kaylyn: Billie Eilish and Rihanna.

T.H. P.:  What was the last movie you saw and what did you think about it?

Kaylyn: The last movie I watched was Enchanted on DisneyPlus. I love that movie. My little sister, Paige and I used to watch it all the time growing up

T.H. P.:  What do you feel your peers love but you think is overrated?

Kaylyn: Probably partying.
