Ayden's newborn session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers
T.H. Peterson: What did you think when you first saw Ayden?
Annie: When I first saw Ayden, my thought was that my she was small
but beautiful. That she looked identical to her big sister when she was
born.
T.H. P.: Can you tell me a little bit about your pregnancy and her birth?
Annie: My pregnancy was hard. I suffered from pre-eclampsia from early on with recommendations to be hospitalized from 18 weeks on. Weekly doctors appointments and multiple ultrasounds. It was a scary several months when they used terms like “intrauterine growth restriction” and said she was less then the 3rd percentile. We had an unscheduled c-section at 36 weeks and she went straight to the NICU. But with all this said I would do it all over again because the end result is amazing.
T.H. P.: What is something you liked about your session with us?
Annie: You guys were very patient with her. She was cranky at the beginning and you guys stuck with it and tried different things to help get pictures of her not crying.
T.H. P.: How has life been with a new baby? Annie: Life with a new baby is exhausting. When you add health challenges it just increases the frustration. When you think you just can’t do it anymore, she smiles and the strength comes.
