Linley's Newborn Session - Interview with Mom - Topeka's Best Newborn Photographers

Linley was such a beautiful little baby, and she already looks so much like her mama. One of the first things you notice about her is her hair—it’s lighter in color, but so incredibly thick that you can’t miss it. Most of the time with blonde babies, it’s hard to tell just how much hair they have, but not with Linley. She has a full head of it, and it photographed so beautifully. She was calm, sweet, and made the session feel easy from start to finish.

We were also able to capture some really special moments with her big sister, who absolutely adored her and loved being part of the session. Grandma was there too, helping out and making sure everything went smoothly, which always makes a difference. It was such a relaxed and enjoyable time, and I’m so thankful I got to create these memories for their family.

T.H. P.: What did you think when you first saw Linley?
Kristen: I couldn’t believe she was 8 lbs 8 oz!

T.H. P.: How did you come up with her name?
Kristen: I found it on a list, and it was the only name we both agreed on.
T.H. P.: What was the hardest part of pregnancy?
Kristen: The heartburn—but it was worth it since she came out with a full head of hair!
T.H. P.: What does big sis think?
Kristen: She is in love and loves being helpful.
T.H. P.: Did you have any big food aversions during pregnancy?
Kristen: Cereal and ice cream sandwiches.
