Madison and Antonio's amazing celebration! Stony Point Hall - Baldwin City, KS - Gorgeous country wedding

I recently had the awesome opportunity to photograph Antonio and Madison's super special wedding! It went down at the stunning Stony Point Hall, just outside of Baldwin City, KS. It was the most beautiful setting ever! Imagine rolling hills, beautiful trees, and an absolutely gorgeous view. It was like something out of a fairytale!

Before the wedding, Madison was pretty nervous and emotional. I mean, who wouldn't be, right? Antonio was in a great mood and you could see his anticipation! Witnessing their emotions is a huge part of why I love what I do!

When the time came for them to see each other for the first time, it was like fireworks went off! They couldn't contain their happiness and love. It was such a heartwarming moment, and all their friends and family were just so thrilled for them. I think I even saw a few tears of joy.

The weather was on our side that day, and it turned out to be a gorgeous afternoon. The party vibes were off the charts! They had these awesome yard games that everyone enjoyed... the dance floor was fire! The energy was insane! Their friends have the dance moves. Sounds cliche but the party was electric.

As the night went on, it became clear that this wedding was one for the books. The love, the laughter, the joy—it was all so infectious. Antonio and Madison created an atmosphere that was impossible not to enjoy.

All in all, it was an amazing night filled with unforgettable moments. From the nervous anticipation to the explosive happiness, Antonio and Madison's wedding was a true celebration of love. I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of it and to have captured those precious memories for them.

Oh Skylar! A beautiful baby with thick black hair and an adorable presence, stole our hearts with her funny expressions and cooperative demeanor during our photography session with her. I was so excited to photograph Larae as she is the beautiful baby of a very long time client, like probably 15-20 years. How to Prepare for a Photo Session - Topeka's Best Family Portrait Photographers

Select outfits that will make for a timeless portrait. Choose practical clothing items, and keep the location and time of year in mind.  Select clothing items and accessories that are not too distracting or that you will have to adjust often during the session (think long necklaces or ruffled tops on a windy day).  Keep in mind the weather, wind speed, and humidity/chance of rain.  If you have littles, bring them some snacks to help give them incentives during the session.  This can help us to get kids to cooperate and make or break a session.  If it is windy, wear your hair up.  Trimming your bangs/hair slightly to keep them out of your eyes is a great idea, too! Use product like mousse, gel, pomade, and hairspray to tame your mane!    Pick shoes that will be easy to walk in at the location of the session.  For example, high heels are not recommended for sunflower shoots, but would look great in an urban/downtown setting.  Bring an extra jacket or cardigan to th
